January 2023 adjustments
We all know that many prices have increased over the last two years, energy and raw material costs, shipping and transport, along with numerous other area increases continue to put unwanted pressure on people and businesses throughout the UK and indeed Europe.
Grafityp, as a European manufacturer and UK supplier, is of course not immune, over this period we have also needed to occasionally alter pricing at certain times to help alleviate some of these increases. We now find it a necessity to again slightly tweak prices on certain products from January. This is required in large to address the big increases we have had in our carriage charges for delivering products over the last 18 months. During this time our base costs have increased significantly, plus the addition of fuel and driver surcharges. We have until now absorbed these extra transport costs, but we now need to address this situation. Therefore, we have little option other than to increase prices on some of our ranges, these increases will be kept to the minimum, with none more than a few percent.
To help minimise these increases, we will from January 2022 raise the amount required for free delivery to £150 before VAT, the standard carriage charge of £9.95 will remain unchanged for orders under this amount. For smaller-value web orders, the new rate will be £6.95 but the threshold will rise to £50 before VAT.
