Winter is coming back to our shores. Temperatures are going down a little further every day. And every year the question then arises: are there films that can be applied at such low temperatures? Because films with non-adapted adhesive do not adhere at such cold temperatures. Fortunately, Grafityp has the solution for adhesion at low temperatures!

The answer may be surprising. Yes, there is a film that can be adhered at such cold temperatures. Grafityp has developed a print film that you can apply at temperatures as low as -10°C. The name: GrafiPrint S22CT, where CT stands for “Cold Temperature”.

Technical specifications

GrafiPrint S22CT is a 75 µm thick polymeric calendered white glossy PVC film with permanent adhesive that guarantees a very high adhesion. The film is suitable for use on solvent printers, latex printers and UV printers. It is designed for all possible indoor and long-term outdoor applications (up to 7 years) on flat or slightly curved surfaces. To optimally protect the print, the film is preferably laminated with GrafiPrint P20P, P21P, LAM200, LAM230 or LAM250.

Where do you apply S22CT?

S22CT is suitable if you want to apply 2D applications in cold conditions. Think of outdoor prints around sports fields, on the side of buses or even on ski lifts.
