Kneadable clay for deep cleaning car paint, glass, hard plastic, mirrors and metals.
Those who think that car paintwork is immaculate after washing and degreasing with a good cleaner will be disappointed. Bird droppings, tree sap, tar, road dirt and fallout affect the paintwork and soak into the open structure of the paintwork. A deep clean is then needed. This mouldable clay is a petroleum resin to which a mild abrasive has been added. Clay breaks down stubborn dirt, which degreasers and cleaners cannot do.
Microscopically, car paint has an open structure where dirt settles and cannot be removed by traditional means or even with a steam cleaner. Space Clay is an indispensable product for non-porous surfaces where self-adhesive film must adhere exceptionally well. Think of edges, deep indents and kinks.
You can 'feel' dirt
To test whether the paintwork is seriously contaminated, do the following: Before claying: slip a sandwich bag around your hand and rub the surface. The plastic bag will make your fingers feel the dirt better. Now treat a small area with Space Clay, dry it with a cloth and then touch it again.
You'll be amazed at the difference.
