DPD's plan to minimise disruption during COP26 Glasgow conference

Dear Grafityp Customer,
COP26 Climate change conference is taking place from 31 October to 12 November in Glasgow 2021 and will inevitably affect DPD's collection and delivery services in the area, with road closures in place in key locations throughout this period.
DPD teams will be working hard to keep disruption to an absolute minimum and have put plans in place to do just that which includes operating extra vehicles throughout this period.
The postcodes that are likely to be most affected are: G1-15, G20-22, G31, G40, G51, G53
Disruption to deliveries and collections are also likely to be seen from 27th October as dignitaries arrive, including the Queen and security protocols are put in place. Please remember that customers will be informed of any delay to their deliveries.
As the UK's most sustainable delivery company, DPD will have all-electric vehicles operating throughout the area including where the COP26 conference is taking place. In fact, there will be a total fleet of 1,500 all-electric vehicles operating throughout peak.
