SolJet Pro 4 XR-640 takes large format printing further with the NEW Eco-Sol Max 2 inks

Following on from the succesful Eco-Sol Max ink technology, Roland have pushed the boundaries even further with Eco-Sol Max 2 which includes a light black, high-opacity white and fast-drying metallic silver. The new Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks are environmentally friendly and virtually odourless, so there's no need for special air filtration systems.

State of the Art Print Engine

SolJet Pro 4 XR-640 print and cut systems maximises output while virtually eliminating bi-directional banding and allows for 7 or 8 colour configurations. Featuring two 8-channel piezo inkjet heads with 180 nozzles per channel. The print heads are arranged in an inline formation with seven different droplet sizes, allowing for smoother gradations and richer density for photographic and high-resolution vector output.

VersaWorks RIP Software

Developed exclusively for Roland inkjet printer/cutters, VersaWorks RIP software takes full advantage of the XR-640 capabilities. Its' intuitive and easy-to-use interface means that no matter whatever your level of experience you'll find it simple, as well as a must-have part of your production package

VersaWorks™ supports the Roland Color System Library which accurately reproduces spot colours from colour charts and swatch books including more than 1,000 standard colours and 512 metallic colours. The new spot colour replacement tool allows an operator to specify Roland colours directly in VersaWorks without the need to spend a great deal of time re-opening the source file to make changes.

Plus, VersaWorks’ latest feature includes a built-in Pantone® spot colour library. This new library helps streamline the conversion process from Pantone® to CMYK colours and ensures accurate Pantone® colour matching.
