WHAT IS A CO2 LASER ENGRAVING MACHINE?

Laser cutting works by directing the output power from a metal Co2 Laser or glass C02 lasertube. A beam is deflected via a series of mirrors and focused through a lens on to the material to be cut or engraved. Tweaking the laser driver by decreasing the power of the C02 laser beam and speeding up the carrage the machine will engrave the most complex of designs on to many surfaces eg. Marble (High power, slow carriage speed) or something as delicate as rose petal. (Low power, high carriage speed)

HOW SAFE IS IT TO USE A LASER ENGRAVER?

LaserPro Laser Engravers are certificated and tested by CE and FCC for laser and electronic operation safety. In addition, the GCC LaserPro Engraving system achieves CDRH (Center for Devices and Radiological Health) IIIA safety criteria. WHAT IS THE LIFE CYCLE OF THE LASERPRO C02 METAL TUBE?

Average life is 20,000 - 35,000 hours of use. That amounts to 8 hours a day at 100% power, 7 days a week, for 7 years if the tube only lasts for 20,000 hours. GCC uses laser tubes manufactured by both Coherent/Deos of Santa Clara, CA and Synrad of Mukilteo, WA. In addition to our trust and faith in the reliability of the tubes, we utilise in our LaserPro line of laser engravers/cutters we also offer the industry's longest warranty: A full 18 months on the laser tube.

CAN THE LASER TUBE BE REFILLED/ RECHARGED?

YES. Once the laser tube has reached the end of its useful life, a gas recharge and system overall by the manufacturer will restore the laser to full power. Once serviced the tube should be good for years, more service.
