The LEJ-640 VersaUV outperforms traditional CMYK printers with the addition of white and clear inks that together open up a new world of design options. With high-opacity white ink, you can print crisp, bright text and graphics on a range of coloured and transparent media. Layers of clear ink can finish your graphics into striking gloss, embossing and matte finishes which is perfect for premium brands

Roland LEJ-640 UV Flatbed printer has the ability to print on a multitude of substrates

LEJ-640 has the ability to print on a vast array of substrates including 4’ x 8’ board stocks up to 13mm (1/2 inch) thick, the VersaUV LEJ-640 printer is perfect for large format signage and point of sale displays, window graphics, exhibition displays and interior décor items. The 1440 x 1440 dpi print mode produces realistic one-off packaging proofs and prototypes with flawlessly smooth gradations, super fine details and sharp text on actual substrates used for production. The Roland VersaUV flatbed printer prints directly onto many offset, rotogravure and flexo substrates to generate highly accurate proofs at a fraction of your current cost and time.

ECO UV Ink choose from four ink configuratons

eco uv ink cartridgesECO-UV inks adhere to a wide range of treated and untreated substrates with exceptional color gamut. Instant-drying and flexible, ECO-UV inks produce prints that require no degassing and can be stretched and applied around curved surfaces and edges without cracking.

The LEJ series supports ECO-UV inks in two formulations: original ECO-UV in CMYK, white and clear and ECO-UV S ink in CMYK and white.

With all of the options available today, creating accurate packaging proofs and prototypes has become more challenging than ever. Whether it’s a box, bag, label or shrink film, the VersaUV series prints vibrant CMYK plus White plus Clear Coat.

Ideal Pre-Press Device

The VersaUV is a very capable pre-press and proofing device that can save commercial printers the many costs associated with press downtime. The LEJ-640 allows printers to keep larger presses online for production. With the ability to print directly onto many offset, rotogravure and flexo stocks and the ability to simulate UV varnish and embossing, the LEJ-640 generates very realistic proofs at a fraction of the cost and time.

Speciality Graphics

With VersaUV, you can eliminate outsourcing for short production runs as well. In small quantities, you can easily produce truly unique, customized graphics and wraps. Production is easy. With VersaUV, there are no plates or film to produce. Simply design on your personal computer, send your file to the printer, and VersaUV does the rest, printing your finished graphic quickly and easily.

Membrane Panels

With the VersaUV, you can print a single membrane panel or several. The LEJ-640 accommodates reverse printing of CMYK, then prints White on polycarbonate stocks without the need to create screens for each color.

Custom Large Format Graphics

With its ability to print on a vast array of substrates including board stocks up to 64” wide and weighing up to 26 pounds, the 64” LEJ-640 is perfect for large-format POP, window graphics, wall wraps, trade show displays and interior décor items.
